Mrs Mavis Kitcher is a professional journalist with over 37 years of practice. She has built her entire career at the Graphic Communications Group Ltd. She was the Women’s Editor of the Daily Graphic, the Editorial Administrator and first Editor of the Junior Graphic as a fully-fledged newspaper.

She is currently the first female Director, News of the company, managing editorial strategy.

Mrs Kitcher holds a Masters degree in Communication Studies, School of Communication Studies, University of Ghana, Legon; Executive Masters, Business Administration (EMBA), Human Resource Management; Ghana Business School,University of Ghana;

Graduate Diploma, Communication Studies, University of Ghana and Diploma in Journalism, Ghana Institute of Journalism, (GIJ).
