Theophilus Yartey is the Editor Graphic. Before coming to this position, he was the Deputy Editor, Daily Graphic, having earlier been the Editor of Graphic Business for almost eight years.
He has been practising frontline journalism consistently for the past 30 years during which he has covered major international and local assignments.
Prior to joining the Graphic Communications Group Ltd., he worked at the Business and Financial Times as the Deputy Editor, and at the New Times Corporation as the Deputy Business Editor of Ghanaian Times
He has considerable wealth of experience in reputational management, brand building, marketing communications among others.
With an in-depth knowledge of the media landscape in Ghana, he has a proven ability in effective management of newspaper brands with compelling content to meet the needs of the reading public.
He has a solid reputation for delivering results and building high performing teams.
Theophilus has special interest in international affairs and global politics as well as sports. He loves to read autobiographies and biographies of accomplished personalities. He loves to travel around the world.
He has good academic background.
He has a Master of Philosophy in Leadership from the University of Professional Studies in Accra, Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the GIMPA Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from GIMPA, and a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
